Client: Jones Engineering
Location: Dublin Data Centre
Overview
Jones Engineering appointed Cronin Group to deliver specialist AHU filter changeouts on a large-scale live data centre project. The works required careful planning and execution within a highly controlled environment with zero tolerance for disruption.
The Challenge
The project involved rooftop AHU maintenance in a live facility where environmental control, safety, and programme certainty were critical. Jones Engineering required an experienced, site-inducted team capable of working efficiently without impacting operations.
Our Solution
Cronin Group’s Maintenance Team implemented a structured, RAMS-led approach:
- Installed temporary filters to maintain system integrity
- Removed and cleaned existing filter frames
- Installed new filter membranes
- Reinstated upgraded filter assemblies across all AHUs
All works were coordinated directly with the Jones Engineering site team.
The Outcome
The project was completed safely, on programme, and without disruption to the live data centre environment. The upgraded filters improved AHU performance, air quality, and cooling efficiency across the facility.
Key Results
- Zero disruption to live operations
- Enhanced cooling system performance
- Improved air quality
- Safe, compliant delivery
- Strong collaboration with Jones Engineering
