Burlington Engineering Ltd (a leading engineering company) were seeking to appoint a machinery moving specialist to support and assist with a chiller system changeout. The Cronin Movers Machinery Movers Team were selected to assist with the removal and disposal of a redundant chiller system, and the assembly and installation of a new Carrier chiller system within Kildare House, Dublin 2.
WHAT WAS INVOLVED
This Burlington Chiller Systems move was undertaken by our Cronin Movers Machinery Movers Team. They were instrumental in planning, project management and providing a professional rigging and moving service. The team leader reported directly to the Burlington Engineering on-site Project Manager.
Phase 1 of the project involved the careful offloading and preparation works of the new Carrier chiller system at the Cronin Movers facility. Following the preparation works, the new system was carefully loaded onto a Cronin vehicle and transported to Kildare House.
Phase 2 of the project was the time sensitive phase. It was important for the client that AC in the building was not down for a long period of time. Therefore, the removal of the redundant system and the installation of the new system was to be carried out within the agreed timeframe.
THE OUTCOME
This Burlington Chiller Systems move project was completed successfully. The removal and disposal of the redundant system and the installation of the new system was a success, with all elements of the project completed on time. The new chiller system was up and running, as planned.
Derek Mc Cormack (Project Manager) for Burlington Engineering says: “I always like working with Cronin Movers. Moving heavy complex equipment into narrow and awkward areas is certainly not an easy thing to do, but these guys make it look so, and provide a professional service from start to finish every time.”
