Cronin Group successfully delivered the safe offloading, rigging, movement, and precision positioning of a high-value Mikron production line for Sanmina at their Cork manufacturing facility.
Working within a live production environment, our Machinery Moving team ensured the equipment was carefully unpacked, manoeuvred, and positioned accurately for final assembly, helping Sanmina keep their installation programme on schedule and minimise operational disruption.
How We Delivered
Cronin Group provided a fully coordinated machinery moving and rigging solution supported by experienced site crews, specialist handling equipment, and detailed project planning.
Scope of Works Included:
- Offloading production line crates from transport trailers
- Safe movement of equipment to designated holding areas
- Precision un-crating and removal of base frames
- Specialist lifting using 7T forklifts, jacks, and robot skates
- Controlled movement of line equipment along agreed site routes
- Final positioning of 5T production line equipment for assembly
All works were completed under the supervision of the Cronin Group Team Leader in direct coordination with the Sanmina onsite project manager.
