What We Achieved
Cronin Group successfully delivered the offloading, rigging, lifting, and precision rooftop positioning of high-value satellite antennas for Viasat at their Dublin facility.
Working within a live environment, our Machinery Moving team ensured the antennas were safely manoeuvred and accurately positioned at roof level using a carefully planned heavy lifting operation completed efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption.
How We Delivered
Our team provided a fully coordinated Delivery, Offload & Positioning (DOP) and rigging solution supported by specialist lifting equipment and experienced site crews.
Scope of Works Included:
- Positioning a 110-tonne mobile crane in the designated lifting area
- Coordinating transport vehicle access and offload operations
- De-crating and preparing sensitive satellite antenna equipment
- Securing specialist lifting slings and rigging systems
- Controlled crane lifting to roof level
- Precision manoeuvring and final rooftop positioning
- Safe securing and completion of sequential lifting operations
All works were carried out under detailed planning, RAMS, and direct coordination with the onsite project team.
